A CELEBRATION OF BLACK FOODWAYS
 

The BayHaven Food & Wine Festival aims to raise awareness of and create opportunities for Black experts in the hospitality industry: chefs, artisans, farmers, brewers and distillers.

Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, the BayHaven Food & Wine Festival will educate, entertain and inform attendees through dinners, demonstrations and VIP opportunities to interact directly with celebrated chefs and brands. More than 75 industry experts and vendors are expected to participate, in addition to partnering with hotels.

Celebrating Black foodways and the chefs, artisans, farmers, brewers and distillers who create and inspire. The inaugural festival — created for and by Black culinarians — to honor the diaspora and foster education. Charlotte has become a true melting pot, drawing folks from around the world. We want that to be represented in the arena of food festivals.
